The Arc (Nationwide)
The Arc supports access to affordable, comprehensive public and private health insurance. We work to broaden access to health care coverage in several ways.

United Healthcare Children's Foundation (Nationwide)
Primary coverage for the child must be by a commercial health plan, either through an employer or individually purchased. Secondary insurance through Medicaid or CHIP is permissible.
The mission of UHCCF is to provide medical grants to enhance the quality of life of children across the United States. Through these grants, kids can get the care they need. We invite you to become part of UHCCF's legacy.

The Orange Effect (Nationwide)
Founded in 2014, the Orange Effect Foundation is a 501(c)3 foundation that empowers children and young adults with speech disorders to effectively communicate through technology and speech therapy.

Small Steps in Speech (Nationwide)
Small Steps in Speech is a non-profit foundation created in memory and in honor of Staff Sgt Marc J. Small who was killed in action in February of 2009 while serving his country in Afghanistan. Small Steps in Speech assists children with speech and language disorders by funding supplemental therapies and treatments for individuals. Our goal is to give children the chance to better express themselves in the world in which we live.

Kid's Waivers (Nationwide)
Kids’ Waivers is a compilation of information about Medicaid waivers, Katie Beckett or TEFRA programs, and other programs for children with disabilities or medical needs.

Care Chest (Nevada)
CARE Chest provides free medical resources to individuals who qualify at 138% of the Federal Poverty Level. A team member can guide you through our application process and potentially arrange delivery if you are homebound. You may arrange to pick up your monthly supplies through our Mobile Outreach locations or at our main warehouse locations in Reno or Las Vegas.

Katie Beckett (Nevada)
Under Section 134 of the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 (TEFRA), States are allowed the option to make Medicaid benefits available to eligible children with disabilities who would not ordinarily qualify for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits because of the parents’ income or resources.
Autism Treatment Assistance (Nevada)
Created to assist parents and caregivers with the expensive cost of providing Autism-specific treatments to their child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ATAP provides a monthly allotment to providers for on-going treatment development, supervision and a limited amount of weekly intervention hours based upon a child’s individual treatment plan, age, and income.

Self Directed Family Support Services (Nevada)
The Self-Directed Family Support Services (SDFSS) program specifically supports specialized treatment/therapies and/or organized events to include specialized camps, clinics or centers which assist the child in developing or maintaining appropriate skills to integrate into their community.
