Hollie Fleming Speech Therapy (Las Vegas) will be closed November 10th through 16th. We will be traveling with a group of volunteers to provide communication and child development training classes, food distribution to families in the community, and organize a Quinceañera for some of the teen moms who live at Village of Hope. Village of Hope provides family style care to adolescent mothers and children with special needs in San Lucas, Guatemala. Village of Hope cares for children ages 0-18 who have been orphaned, abused, abandoned, or rescued from sex trafficking, including adolescent mothers and their babies. They are currently home to 45 children and employ 50 Guatemalan staff.
If you are interested in supporting Village of Hope you may view the Amazon wishlist or contact me for a specific list of items to support communication needs. I will be taking picture communication books, adapted learning materials, and positive behavior supports. I will be personally delivering all of the communication items.
